Apple's latest devices have arrived, bringing new options for iPhone and Apple Watch users. Announced on September 9, 2026, the lineup includes iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, the all-new foldable iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.

Whether you’re interested in a more advanced camera, longer battery life, a larger foldable display or new health and fitness features, there’s plenty to explore. Here’s a closer look at what’s new and how to shop the latest Apple devices with Spectrum Mobile®.

What’s new with iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max?

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max build on Apple’s Pro lineup with updates to photography, performance, battery life and Apple Intelligence.

Both models feature the A20 Pro chip, along with a new thermal management system designed to support demanding tasks such as gaming, video editing and AI-powered features. Apple has also redesigned Dynamic Island so it can display more information, including up to three Live Activities at once.

One of the biggest changes comes to the camera. The new 48MP Fusion Main camera introduces variable aperture, allowing the camera to adjust how much light reaches the sensor and how much of a scene stays in focus. New Pro controls also give photographers more direct access to settings including aperture, shutter speed and white balance.

Both phones run iOS 27 and support the latest Apple Intelligence features, including Siri AI. Apple says Siri AI can use personal context and onscreen awareness to help answer questions and take actions across supported apps and experiences.

Battery life gets an update, too. Apple rates the eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro for up to 36 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max offers up to 45 hours of battery life. Actual battery life varies based on use, settings and other factors.

iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max?

The choice may come down to how you use your phone. iPhone 18 Pro provides the core Pro camera, performance and AI features in the smaller Pro format. iPhone 18 Pro Max is designed for people who prefer a larger device and puts a greater emphasis on battery life.

Both models are available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options, with burgundy, glacier, silver and black finishes. Apple pre-orders on Spectrum. Order your new iPhone with Spectrum now.

Meet iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone

The biggest change to the iPhone lineup may be iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone.

Closed, iPhone Duo has a 5.4-inch outer display for everyday Smartphone use. Open it and a 7.6-inch inner display provides additional room for watching content, gaming, working across apps and multitasking. Apple designed both displays with the same aspect ratio so content can transition between them more naturally.

The folding design also creates new ways to use the cameras. You can position the phone at different angles or take advantage of both displays during certain camera experiences.

Inside, iPhone Duo uses the same A20 Pro chip found in the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, along with a dual-battery architecture and a custom thermal system. It also runs a version of iOS 27 designed to make use of the larger foldable display.

For someone who regularly uses a phone for streaming, gaming or productivity, the larger inner display could offer more room without requiring a separate tablet. If you prefer the familiar one-screen design of a traditional iPhone, iPhone 18 Pro Max may be the more straightforward choice.

iPhone Duo comes in star white and night sky with storage options ranging from 256GB to 2TB. Apple pre-orders begin October 16, with availability beginning October 23.

What’s new with Apple Watch Series 12?

The Apple Watch Series 12 puts a major focus on health and fitness information.

The new Health Sensing System works with Apple's S11 chip to take more frequent heart rate and heart rate variability measurements. That information supports a new readiness score designed to help users understand factors such as activity, recovery and sleep before taking on the day.

Apple Watch Series 12 also introduces more accurate step tracking and a Steps complication that can display your step count directly on the watch face. For workouts, Apple says the watch offers up to 10 hours of outdoor workout battery life. Everyday battery life remains rated at up to 24 hours, with faster charging that can provide up to 12 additional hours after a 15-minute charge under Apple's test conditions.

Apple Watch Series 12 comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes with aluminum, titanium and ceramic options in a range of finishes.

If you’ve been searching for the new “Apple Watch 12,” Apple Watch Series 12 is the official product name.

Apple Watch Series 12 vs. Apple Watch Ultra 4

Apple also introduced Apple Watch Ultra 4 for users who want a Smartwatch geared toward endurance activities, outdoor workouts and adventure.

Like Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4 includes the new Health Sensing System, S11 chip and readiness score. It adds a greater emphasis on extended battery life and outdoor activity tracking. Apple rates Ultra 4 for up to 50 hours of everyday battery life and up to 84 hours in Low Power Mode. Max Extended Workout mode can track outdoor runs, walks and hikes for up to 45 hours with GPS readings every second. Actual results vary based on use and settings.

So which one fits your routine?

• Consider Apple Watch Series 12 if you want an everyday Smartwatch focused on health, fitness, communication and daily activity tracking

• Consider Apple Watch Ultra 4 if longer battery life and advanced outdoor or endurance features are higher priorities

Both Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are available to order on Spectrum.com beginning September 18.
